How much is DS Stylus Used? - 11-14-2009, 07:02 AM

I know this seems like a dumb question, but it's really not: How much is it required to use the DS stylus pen-thing in the games "Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days" and "Final Fantasy IV"? I need to know before I buy a DS, because I have problems with my hands and I won't be able to use the stylus very much. Can someone please help me?

Why buy a USED stylus? Haha
Just go on ebay and look it up, they're only a few dollars.

Oh, no that's not what I meant, JayT. I mean, how often must I use the stylus on a DS for these games? But thanks anyway! ^__^

Thanks, seiki. That's good to know about the FF games.

Well a lot of games use the keys, usually the stylus part is for special features =D

depends on the games you play. I hardly used it on Kingdom hearts then again I didn't play it that much.

I play usually with the stylus... but... to be honest... the other day.. I was playing while I was in the bathroom... and .. well... my stylys finish inside the water... ;_____; the only think I could do was to go in my room and take the second stylus... XD

i dont use the stock stylus on mine at all i have a little peice that clips on my thumb and makes the selections on the screen much easier ...

not sure what your issue is on using one but there are other options to consider... (from larger stylus in general, to ones that feel like they are just a part of your finger) ...

Hmm, FF games don't use the stylus much so it's okay. But if you want to play Zelda Spirit Tracks then you'll have to use it all the time since you walk, attack AND select with the stylus.

In most games, you can get by without ever using the stylus. Sure, some need it a lot, but you could still have fun without it. And you can also use your fingernail instead usually, if that's easier.
