english/japanese exchange - 07-07-2009, 06:18 PM

Konnichi wa. I am looking for someone to help me learn Japanese in exchange for me helping them with English. I know some key words and phrases, most hiragana and some katakana. If anybody would help me I really appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

EDIT: Im really desperate. I have been only using books and i would like to speak with someone instead. Thank you

Hey man... all these people viewing your post, but nobody's helping you, huh? It's this site... it's weird. These people only respond to girls and Japanese people. Regular guys don't ever get any help.

But if you want to practice, you can talk to me on AIM at thechocokat, yahoo on kuroi_tenchi, or skype at chococat. I'm a japanese student myself, but I can help you with grammar, vocabulary and syntax, even though I'm trying to learn myself.

And don't worry about these JapanForum people. There are some cool ones out here.

I am also learning right now. I have dipped into hirigana. and am getting very familiar with sentence structure. I wanna talk to the japanese girls. i know they are mostly in japan. I met one or two in salt lake city utah at a mall. very cute.

I'm really eager to start learning, so I can imagine you are too. I'm actually transporting myself to Osaka in a couple years to teach English, and need to get the basics of Japanese down before I catch a flight!
But I'm so impatient. I want someone to help me NOW! Hehe.

I can help with pronounciation and the basics. I'm intermediate too, but I haven't studied formally for 2 years, so I don't want to lead anyone astray with my grammer forgetting-ness^_^;; I'm very good at pronounciation though, and that's one of the most important things you're missing out on by just learning from a book!

I have Skype and a few other chat programs, so PM me if you want some basic help ^.^
