Talking Looking for tokusatsu fans :) - 07-25-2007, 10:09 PM

Greetings people.

I'm known as Guyferd, from the brazilian tokusatsu website Tokufriends.

Well, we love to bring news and remember the old japanese series that Japan makes every year and with 9 months online we have more than 53000 clicks on our first page. (with a little anime and manga stuff inside)

But we are looking for someone who may like to work with us in this fan project. I speak English as well, but none of us can speak japanese and we loose a lot of original info (from Toei, Toho, Tsubaraya or other websites) if we cannot understand the original language.

Our projects:

Tokufriends.com (website)

Tokufriends Forum (forum)

Tokufriends Blog (blog)

*and about 55 communities in the relationship site Orkut.com*

Well, we would like to have your visits in our projects anyway, but if any of you want to join the Tokufriends with us, just mail to tokufriends@gmail.com , ok?

Thanks \o

My fave is Garo. I also love Gekiranger. I'm new to tokusatsu, relatively speaking.

i'm looking for friends who speak Japanese. I am learning Japanese on my own, using books and Pimsleur's Speak and Learn Japanese. But i am only on lesson12, so i'm not very good. I just learned how to ask about time. There are NO Japanese speakers in my area, but a Japanese shop 40 miles south in Cary. If you know of any Japanese events in Raleigh, especially NORTH Raleigh, NC, PLEASE lmk! TIA!
