Looking for Boxing/Muay Thai gym - 07-06-2009, 05:38 AM

Hello, I'm new to the Mita area, living close to Keio University Mita campus and near Azabu-Juban station. I do Western style boxing in Canada and am looking for a gym in my area. I am only here for 2 months, so someplace that may not have a hefty registration fee. I am also willing to try Muay Thai. If anyone knows of a gym that is willing to accept females and in my area, please let me know.

It is rather difficult to find a gym that will satisfy your condition (temporary training, low cost, accept female, in the area of Boxing or Muay Thai), there are a few Karate dojo that may take you in, but it will be basic training, so you won't be participating in any heavy drills or sparring, in 2 months you may be able to train up to doing line drills and 4 men kumite if you are willing to give it a shot
