going to live with my girl friend whos doing the jet program,im an artist - 09-05-2007, 04:04 AM

my girl friend is teaching in ono city fukui,and i want to go over and live for a while,im not a very organised person , is it easy to find casual work because im an artist(painter) and want to keep making art and work a bit to get by ? ,

any info would be greatly appreciated

holy crap the jet program...i was so wanting to do that after highschool....i never made it through though....thatll be awsome teaching kids english in japan haha

Then you will be going on a tourist VISA which will expire after 90 days. You cannot work on a tourist visa legally, so the answer is no, not really.
