[The Begining of a Naruto FanFiction]

Granted it's short...that's just b/c I wrote is like 12 minutes ago! ^_~ ...

I awoke that morning to a world soaked in water. By noon, the rain was still pouring out of the skies, but I knew that my training could not be delayed any longer. I stepped out into the cold drizzle and made my way to a secret training area. Shrouded by trees I tried my hardest to stay focused and advance my skills as a ninja, but with the terenchal rain, it was hindering my training. With every knife and dagger I threw my aim was slowly dwindling to nothing. I knew I was better than what I was showing, but I was having problems proving myself. The thought of Orochimaru being dissapointed in me moved from the back of my mind to the front, but there was nothing I could do at this point and time. Now soaked with water, I traveled back to the village where I would have to explain myself to my superiors. Even though there was a raging strom going on, there were numerous people walking around. Every person I passed acknowledged my presence. For the first time in my life I felt wanted and respected, by someone other than close friends or some family members.

Here's some more...hot off the paper!

Standing on the steps of the headquarters building, my heart was in my throat. I asked myself why I was worrying so much about this matter. I looked up into the grey cloudy sky, and made up my mind to go inside.
Just like any other day, people were running around, talking, dropping papers, and everything else. Pushing my way past several people I walked downstairs to Lord Orochimaru's office. I knocked twice before the door opened.
"Sasuke...is there a problem?"
"Sir, I need to talk to you." I asked as he lead me inside the room.
"What's the problem?" He said showing me to a chair.
I paused before answering. "I had problems training this morning, sir. I don't want to blame everything on the weather conditions, but..."
"Sasuke, it's alright. Truthfully, I didn't expect you or anyone else to attempt it today."
"I feel like I'm not as far along as I hoped or should be."
"Don't worry about that now. Right now you're surpassing students that have been here for several years!"
"But that isn't good enough for me!"
"What's bothering you?"
I thought about my brother and all the horrible acts that were inflicted on my clan. I could feel the power surge through my whole entire body! Orochimaru's eyes narrowed when I rose from my chair and said that I would be in later.
With my back against the door, I took a deep breath to recollect myself, then I walked away-still thinking about the past. The rain had stopped when I walked back outside and the sun, now, shone brightly over the Sound Village.
