Thanks, it's one of the few poems I do based on my feelings (not good at expressing my feelings so I don't do many of them.) Glad to know it sounds good. :p

Night's Death Song
The darkness of the night;
The Full moon's glow;
The black wolf's howl echoes.
Night's Death Song is about to begin.
The dark clouds enshroud the moon;
The forests become ominous;
The trees close in.
Night's Death Song is about to begin.
The black wolf's howl fades;
As a low, resonating, sound takes it's place
Silence fills the ears of man.
Night's Death Song is about to begin.
The low, resonating, sound ends
And the world falls into silence agian
Night's Death Song is about to begin...

The wind blows gently through the trees
And a shrill whistle pierces night ears
The dark clouds still shroud the moon
Night's Death Song has begun.
The low, resonating, sound begins again
Followed closely by a shrill howl
The howl from the black wolf's mouth
Night's Death Song has begun.
Man's ears are still silent
They are unable to hear Death's presence
The black wolf's howl is joined
By the laughter of something unholy
Night's Death Song has begun.
The unholyness spreads like wildfire
There is no sun to burn it away
For Death fears the sun's direct touch
Night's Death Song has begun.
Black wolf's howl
Low, resonating, sounds
Wind whistling through the trees.
Night's Death Song has begun.

But wait!
One being of pure white
She ventures out of the forest
Night's Death Song still plays
A Doe of white purity
Stands tall against Death's dark sneer
The dark sneer of Night's song
Night's Death Song still plays
The deer is a symbol
A symbol of truth
A symbol of hope
Night's Death Song still plays
What becomes of man if truth is gone?
What becomes of man if hope fades?
What becomes of man if
Night's Death Song still plays?
The doe of White seeing all
She takes no notice of those there
And continues her walk through the forest
Night's Death Song still plays
She walks between the dark trunks
Around the dark presense
And deeper into the throng
Night's Death Song still plays
The black wolf growls
The sound low, and resonating
Death bares his blood stained teeth
Night's Death Song still plays

There will be no piercing scream
There will be no saving god
There will be no mourning
Night's Death Song is reaching its peak
There will be no one there
There will be no saving love
There will be no other sacrifice
Night's Death Song is reaching its peak
There is no hope for her
There is no need to quell her wants
There is no other place for her to be
Night's Death Song is reaching its peak
There is no rain to wash away the blood
There is no preventing Death's claim
There is not a way to change her
Night's Death Song is reaching its peak
There was no discussion
There were no choices
There was no changing her fate
She made her decision
We must honor it
Night's Death Song has reached its peak

She chose her fate
She chose to give up Hope
She chose to give up Love
Night's Death Song is ending
She chose to show the world her strength
She chose to show her peace with Death
She chose to let you know her sacrifice
Night's Death Song is ending
She wanted you to know her love
She wanted you to know her power
She wanted you to see the Truth
Night's Death Song is ending
She wanted this
She accepted this
Now it's your turn
Night's Death Song has ended...

For now.

When did you write that!?

Lucid blue.

Heres one I did a while back hope you enjoy it.

*****************************************
I love it, the evening scene that hides the sun.
As he will lay to sleep now.

I see me, a new reflection, a new born soul, a flower bloomed into itself.
What can you tell me of the past, that I have left.
even though I still remember you.

to the stars above, as they look below, to the child they see.
A heart that pains the same, Gods stay distant from earth.
Suspended in the heavens.

And though these stars are bright, they still cannot see.
the flames that burn inside his core.
That flame forever burns inside this soul.

The stars said that you are different, A blackened rose inside a field of color.
So you went to wake the heart, that had been sleeping so long.
Who would be the one to open the chamber door, that had held all my sorrow.
all locked doors must be opened, in one way or in another.
Even though this flower still must grow.

To the rose in bloom, to the child at birth, it's a miracle.
beginnings that are bound to end.
and so shining, the life is born again.
Though I need to go, now inside my soul.
Deep inside my mind, the true me is crying out.

And I will wake the flame, that has been ashes so long.

Sighing to the falling stars, if only I could have caught them.
now talking to the past I see now lost, in missing me I see a dark tunnel.
I cannot go to the place where our hearts beg to call home.
This place you call death.

The story ends today, with another start.
yet our hearts will cry, our souls will always sing.

singing to the new me what will come to be?
saying goodbye to all the lives that I have had.
As I stare into the stars, reflected in the sea.
looking through memories I had left behind.

As I stare into it, I can see them.
in the lucid blue, a dream, a new rebirth.

This is probably my all time favorite poem/song. I don't think I could ever really explain why though. Suffice to say that I think this poem is absolute perfection - I wouldn't change a word of it.

"The Moon, she hangs like a cruel portrait
soft winds whisper the bidding of trees
as this tragedy starts with a shattered glass heart
and the Midnightmare trampling of dreams
But on, no tears please
Fear and pain may accompany Death
But it is desire that shepherds it's certainty
as We shall see..."

She was divinity's creature
That kissed in cold mirrors
A Queen of Snow
Far beyond compare
Lips attuned to symmetry
Sought Her everywhere
Dark liquored eyes
An Arabian nightmare...

She shone on watercolours
Of my pondlife as pearl
Until those who couldn't have Her
Cut Her free of this World

That fateful Eve when...
The trees stank of sunset and camphor
Their lanterns chased phantoms and threw
An inquisitive glance, like the shadows they cast
On my love picking rue by the light of the moon

Putting reason to flight
Or to death as their way
They crept through woods mesmerized
By the taffeta Ley
Of Her hips that held sway
Over all they surveyed
Save a mist on the rise
(A deadly blessing to hide)
Her ghost in the fog

They raped and left...
(Five men of God)
...Her ghost in the fog

Dawn discovered Her there
Beneath the Cedar's stare
Silk dress torn, Her raven hair
Flown to gown Her beauty bared
Was starred with frost, I knew Her lost
I wept 'til tears crept back to prayer

She'd sworn Me vows in fragrant blood
"Never to part
Lest jealous Heaven stole our hearts"

Then this I screamed:
"Come back to Me
For I was born in love with thee
So why should fate stand in between?!"

And as I drowned Her gentle curves
With dreams unsaid and final words
I espied a gleam trodden to earth
The Church bell tower key...

The village mourned her by the by
For She'd been a witch
Their Men had longed to try
And I broke under Christ seeking guilty signs
My tortured soul on ice

A Queen of snow
Far beyond compare
Lips attuned to symmetry
Sought Her everywhere
Trappistine eyes
An Arabian nightmare...

She was Ersulie possessed
Of a milky white skin
My porcelain Yin
A graceful Angel of Sin

And so for Her...
The breeze stank of sunset and camphor
My lantern chased Her phantom and blew
Their Chapel ablaze and all locked in to a pain
Best reserved for judgement that their bible construed...

Putting reason to flight
Or to flame unashamed
I swept form cries
Mesmerized
By the taffeta Ley
Or Her hips that held sway
Over all those at bay
Save a mist on the rise
A final blessing to hide
Her ghost in the fog

And I embraced
Where lovers rot...
Her ghost in the fog

Her ghost in the fog

Cradle of Filth - Her Ghost in the Fog

Fog Angel

So she walks,
A soundless figure masked by a morning's fog.
So she dances,
To the sonic boom of the thunder over head.
So she cries,
Tears of sorrow and of joy onto the floor of the forest.
So she caresses,
Like a lover as her wings stroke the long dead ground.
So she fantasizes,
With the melancholy of one so blessed they no not the difference in failure to excellence.
So she shouts,
Cries of yearning and of needing.
So she loves,
For all that is lost,
For all that will never be,
For all that she will ever wish for.

here's the pic that goes along with that

sakari09 09-24-2008 02:58 PM

I hear
The mournful beats
Of old wings…
One black angel
Forever trapped upon
This tainted ground.
Never to set flight
Once more,
And soar above
The endless skies
Instead it looks on,
Away from the light
Away from hope
All feelings lost
While blinded by sin.

Cats Sleep Anywhere

Cats sleep anywhere, any table, any chair.
Top of piano, window-ledge, in the middle, on the edge.
Open drawer, empty shoe, anybody's lap will do.
Fitted in a cardboard box, in the cupboard with your frocks.
Anywhere! They don't care! Cats sleep anywhere.

a poem / song i once wrote about a girl.... from memory

I don't want sushi everyday but i just can't stop
Cos there's this girl and she's working in the sushi shop

she got this crazy cool hair and such sexy eye's
and when she looks at me thats when i realise

that girl.... you need to be mine
so when your serving me please take your time

cos i dont want sushi everyday but i just can't stop
but theres a little ray of sunshine in the sushi shop

i'm in to electronic music , art, clubs and bars
i think that bicycles london are cooler than cars

and i guess, thats something you think too
so already ive got something in common with you

everyday i wanna say, "hey whats your name"
but its so busy that i panic which is such a shame

cos i don't want sushi everyday but i just cant stop
but theres this super sexy girl in the sushi shop

while i didn't write it FOR her...she did inspire me to write it..(that and being VERY bored at work) ...so one day i showed her...and the rest.....well... what can i say... i stopped paying for my sushi soon after that :P

also there was more to it than that...but thats all i can remember... think i'm missing several lines

Coffee Poem

Why you say what you say?
I'm beautiful in the beginning
and always to the very end...

You look at me in amazement
I do not know why you do...
It wakes me up and put in its
time always, it defend...

You know I talk about coffee
for it enlightens my day as well
as yours as well told....

How beautiful can this be when
you see a smile and laughter?
Not a frown of dismay or sound
of gloom, but you see me...

Yes, I love coffee, year round it's
my thing, daily 365, want to add a
day or two if you could?

I think it's beautiful, look into the mirror
at the cafe' yonder, go verbally free...
What a wonder it is to you and also to
the coffee lover diehard in me!
