Your pictures are wonderful! ^_^
Thank you hun!
I know, right? I had to stop at the angle I wanted to view it at and take as many shots as I could from that position, and people were like pushing me out of the way and I was out of my mind, shouting: CAN'T YOU SEE I AM TRYING TO TAKE A MOTHERFUCKING PICTURE! MOVE ALONG AND STOP INTERRUPTING MY WORK! xDDDDDDD

I hate crowded places.

Not really. The one I took them at is just like any other food market.

As for my avatar... errrr YES! Yes, yes, yes! I made that picture, how good am I?

Edit: Oh and, thanks a lot Eggs; I mean, Eks... I MEAN! Ex

I dig all of 'em. The second one looks a tad strange though, since the difference in focus is so great. Besides that, rockin' photographs.

Internet pron. Har har.

camera is a nikon d40 btw

third looks a little blown out (over exposed)

others are ok, the extreme bokeh of 2 is kinda much though..

so for the 3rd pic to show you what I mean, I ran it thru photoshop real quick...

vs. the original:

a way to remedy this is don't shoot such a long exposure time with that high of ISO. If you have to due to bad lighting conditions, use your flash instead.

No, I don't have one. I'm not really that much into photography, I don't even have a proper cam >.< (although I can borrow one anytime I like, but only for three days at the max.).

I guess so. The course only started 4 weeks ago and will finish in late December. I'm more interested in video-making but I'm kinda taking a liking to photography so I might try to get a good camera second-hand for Christmas.

I meant for it to look that way. I wanted the difference in focus to be more apparent than real and highly evident. But perhaps I pushed it a tad too hard.

Meaning I spent too much time trying to get the right focus on the tomatoes?

Thank you! I wasn't allowed to use flash or edit the shot in any way, it had to be the original lighting it was under.

exif viewer is a plug in for firefox (like internet explorer) that a lot of amatures and pro photographers use to see what kind of settings other photographers used to get their shots. it helped me learn a lot as to what kind of settings i need for what kind of shots.

it looks like this:
