Since I support NinjaKasumi's idea of a creative forum I should put my muscle where my mouth is (that sounds suspicious ^^; ) and start my gallery too.

your lines are very cleen - do you ink by hand or use photoshop?
im always scared to ink by hand cos im afraid i'll bugger it up :p

I ink on the paper. If i mess up i can always use white-out or clean up in photoshop. Do not be afraid to go straight at it. Mistakes are unavoidable, but it is little flaws and defects that give an artpiece character. (just made that up to cover-up my blatant lack of skillz) ^_^

ma ma ma! that's not true. You're drawing just fine and can only get better. Look at all the giant strides you've made in in progress so far. Plus your coloring technique is above and beyond what many could ever hope to achieve. Please think better of yourself.

My main inking tool is Faber-Castell PITT artist pen (india ink without the hassle of dipping a pen) for lineart. Various sizes. Big flat areas are blacked with india ink using a brush. I draw on 100lb smooth bristol paper.

Crouching tiger, hidden dragon! XD

Short quick strokes using the wrist as pivot for short curved lines. Using the elbow as pivot for short straight lines and long curved lines. Try that and tell me how it goes.
