My girlfriend is Japanese and she tells me Japanese people, specially male cheat. If not, have other women on the side while they're abroad.

But I think EVERYONE CHEATS! But she tells me Japanese men cheat more so.

True? False? Some truth to this?

True? False? Some truth to this?

You are an American (like me) so I think we need to take a cultural perspective.

I don't think the question is "Do Japanese me cheat more?" but "In what country is cheating considered more despicable?" and the answer to that would be America. Compared to much of Europe, Asia, South America and other areas, infidelity is much more of a crime in the US than it is in other parts of the world.

Do you really think "everyone cheats"?

I think everyone cheats to a certain extent: emotionally, physically, sexually, etc.

Everyone thinks with something other than their head.

Ever heard of the quote: "Think with your Dick, not with your head"?

It was a highschool phrase all the guys used...LOLs

High school is not adulthood. Only a tiny percentage of high school relationships become successful marriages.

But I guess it what you define as cheating. Is looking at another woman and finding her attractive cheating?

What is the difference between "physically" and "sexually"?

If I have an emotional relationship with another person besides my mate, am I cheating?

It could never be proved either way. At the end of the day i don't believe cultural differences affect whether someone is capable of cheating.

I think it's more just modern culture the world over in which relationships mean less than they used to. Therefore more people play around.

And of course different people view cheating differently. My ex used to get mad at me anytime i looked in the direction of another girl.
However, my current partner who i've settled down with doesn't mind that at all and even discusses girls with me on occasion. And they even come up during fantasies we share etc.

I dont think they cheat much in the middle east.

I mean, they cut your d*ck if they find out.

So yeah, culture affects the individual and therefore society.
