To make the site work better with Japanese characters (because we are happily seeing more Japanese speaking members), we have changed the encoding on all pages from ISO-8859-1 to UTF-8. If that doesn't mean anything to you, don't worry about it.
In the past, only users who had their forum language set to Japanese were on UTF-8, but now even English speaking users are set to UTF-8. This shouldn't cause any changes for anyone (other than improving the viewing of Japanese characters for English speaking users), but we wanted to let you know in case you see any problems. If you notice any strange characters or any of your posts are broken in any way, please let me know via PM or by replying to this thread. The encoding change was made on 11/14/06.
