Buddy List?

I don't know what forum it belongs to but since it's got to do with site queries I decided to post it here. So what is the function of the Buddy List? I've noticed when you add someone to yours the plus sign [+] appears next to the username of the person but what's the use of this option? *sits and waits for an explanation* Thank you.

The names of your buddies show up not only on the "online users" list, but also in the "buddy list", so you can easily see if there is any of your favorite users online at the time... ^^

And anyways, what is it for? I mean, ok, there is a list that tells you when your buddy-users are online, and... what else? lol

Yup- on the main page, just above the "Online Users" field on the left side of the page.
What else? Well... you can add half of the forum members to your buddy list and when you feel lonely, you can look at the list and think that you are not that lonely after all, since you have so many buddies

Other than that, i don't see it having any more functions

You mean above the box that says Currently Active Users? There's no left side field there =/ I've looked through the forum settings but I can't find any option that enables such section to appear on the forum's main page. Im dooooomed

No, no. You are looking in the wrong area, it is much easier to find then you think. On the main page of the site (not the forum list page). I'll show you the link to what I am talking about just in case you are still confused.

There is a panel to your left that says: Online Users, below that has the current poll, and above that has your Buddy List.

You buddy list is to just simply keep track of all your friends that are online, and it lets you PM them easier, and show they are active by using the + sign next to their username.
