Great idea! A few other people have requested a forum for sports too, so here it is: Japanese Sports.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm going to be in Japan in July, and was planning on seeing part of the sumo tournament in Nagoya. But you can't order tickets from abroad. Has anyone been to this tournament, or a similar one, and do you know if buying tickets on the day (for 5 non-japanese speaking people) will be a problem.

Also, any general advice for watching sumo would be greatly appreciated.

Really? The cheapest tickets are only around 3000 yen.
