I sorta didn't read every post on this thread, so I'm probably repeating something here, but I do believe it is possible to tell Asians apart, at least East Asians (China, Korea, Japan). I can't, for the life of me, remember where I read this at, but it has something to do with facial structure and the shape of their eyes. Now of course not every individual person is going to conform to these racial attributes, but Japanese, Chinese, and Koreans generally have certain details that allow a person to tell which race they are.
