I'm not sure if there is an underground train tunnel that goes into Japan...
I think you have to get a train or something to a port city in China, like Shanghai, and get a ferry from there to Japan (once in Japan, you can take the bullet train (shinkansen) to almost any city in Japan you want. I hope that works OK
