Are you saying that emos generally are/do that?

Not everything you read (I suppose that's your source?) is actually true concerning emos. Unless you've seen some committing suicide, or being a depressive mania, or even being with one to have a general idea about the sub-culture, I don't really think you should label them that.

Emo means emotional - It doesn't necessarily mean depressive. Happiness is an emotion.


But yeah, I wouldn't give them a sit.

Edit: I'm not an emo, but I have plenty of friends who are.
