vampire manga recomondations
okay, so i love vampire mangas, and i was wondering what vampire manga you would recommend i read next? I really love romance mangas that have to do with vampires too...

Blood+ comes out in a couple weeks. I would recommend that. I liked Vampire Knight, too.

Vampire Kisses...It's based on an American book series called Vampire Kisses.
It's a new series so there's only like one book out and, like I said, it's American, but it's super good! You might want to read the books first. Not only because it'll help with your background knowledge for the manga, but also because it'll waste your time until the next books come out. There's four books in the series. The fifth book comes out in July and the second book in the manga comes out in September. XP It's a long time to wait [especially for me and my friend] but, it's still a super good romance vampire story and it's funny at times, too. You'd like it. |

Vampire Game by Judal
I absolutely adore the manga by JUDAL called Kyuketsu Yuugi or 'Vampire Game' here in the states - is published by TokyoPop.
Story about a Princess who befriends the reincarnated Vampire King, who falls in love with her, but the Princess has eyes only for her guardian, Darres. :) - Nishi |
The only vampire relevent manga I read is hellsing.
I recomend it if you like gore. If you don't...then um...hmmm read something else? |
Vampire Knight and Vampire Game all very nice. Chibi Vampire (also known as Karin) is extremely good as well.

Vampire Knight has been mentioned so much that I think it's a given that you should read it (which you probably already have) XD
Um... some that haven't been mentioned yet: - Millenium Snow (or a Thousand Years of Snow) is done by Bisco Hatori (mangaka of Ouran Host Club) but the series has been left unfinished. -_- - Vampire Girl, it's a little strange and hard to follow, but it's got an intriguing atmosphere. I haven't been able to find the whole series though, since I -think- it's incomplete. - Midnight Secretary - I didn't personally like what I'd read of it, but it's to do with vampires. A bit of mature content. |

I'm surprised no one recommended Model. It's really good if you like shojo-type manga.

Has anyone mentioned Blood Alone? It's only got four volumes out in English right now, but I really enjoy it. It's got some grammatical mistakes and such, but the story is good and the characters are awesome. It's also kinda cute, if you ignore the slight pedophilia undertones >.> |

In my opinion... I think the only GOOD manga that revolves around vampires is Hellsing. There's nothing really corny and mushy in it that just ruins how bad-ass vampires could be... *thinks of many manga and novels that just ruin vampires in sadness*
OH! And you get to see some Neo-Nazi peoples in action. Highly amusing. |
