Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu and Ouran High School Host Club XD

As french, I've seen so much japanese anime since childhood and beginning of the 80s.
But if only one would remain in my mind... It would be not an old one... I would say Fruits Basket rules! (but the list would contain City Hunter :D , Kimagure Orange Road and Maison Ikkoku as well... and more modern, Kanojo to Kareshi, even unfinished, was a nice thing lol!) |

Funniest . . . hmm
--'Fruits Basket' had some hilarious moments --'Hayate no Gotoku' poked fun at just about everything in the entire genre but you had to be a familiar with a lot of different animes to get the references and jokes --'Tsukuyomi, Moon Phase', 'Chobits' and 'Kanokon' all had good chuckles throughout too --I didn't really care for 'Excel Saga' |

Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo is as random as it is funny, many people may not concur with me because this is one of does "Either you love or hate it" anime/manga. FLCL was also funny.

I downloaded Excel Saga the other day and watched it up to episode 6, i dont know what to say other than it wasn't good. I was bored with every episode. Deleted it of the hard drive.

I don't know if anyone has seen it but, Kanokon was pretty funny. It has fanservice so if you don't like that you probably won't like this anime.

Excel Saga is funny as hell. You might have to have a bizarre sense of humor to really appreciate it though. Golden Boy is pretty funny too, and Cowboy Bebop. I always thought the GTO comics were really funny, but I don't think the humor translated that well as an anime.

Fullmetal Panic: Fumoffu! I literally ROFL'd in this series, although it may have been funnier as I was watching it with friends.
From a purely comedic standpoint, I'd say FMP: Fumoffu is one of the best series, however if you like some drama, then I'd also go for Great Teacher Onizuka. Also of note, as funny as FMP: Fumoffu was, the first season (Fullmetal Panic) and 3rd season (FMP: The Second Raid) were dead serious. Hope there's a 4th one, this is my favourite series of all time. |
