Hentai. It just doesn't have any appeal to me.

I never really got into Hentai, the few I have seen were pretty disturbing. I also avoid anything like narato, pokemon, and gundam.

I avoid Meccha, Hentai and Hardcore Sci-fi. I also avoid animes that are like Naruto.

yuri and yaoi,

I usually avoid shounen. It's just not my type of thing. I'm not too crazy about yaoi, either.

For me i usually stay away from shoujo, yaoi (I am okay with shounen-ai though), yuri, magical girl, Hentai.

i tried to stay away from romantic genres like rumbling hearts. buts its hard to when its so good.

Yaoi and Yuri. I mean, if there's a sex scene in a book, no big deal, but I avoid pornography in any way, shape, or form.

I avoid shounen anime. It's just too long and boring after a while.

I try to stay far from any overly dramatic high school geared stuff like the whole she said, he said, he broke up with her for her and so on! I am 23 and that stuff just annoys me now! I am more geared towards supernatural ones especially VAMPIRES!! Oh and I really dont care for any yaoi or yuri themed ones either...just not my style...my boyfriend's sister loves it though.

I normally avoid shounen genres, like Naruto or One Piece, for obvious reasons. Character design doesn't really have anything to do with genre (unless it's chibi or something), so I judge according to plot. At the same time, I'm pretty open-minded, I don't decide to dislike something unless I've already seen it and know what it's about and have a reason not to like it.

Anything having to do with romance or relationships. Hints of romance make things interesting, but when all a story revolves around is a relationship, it drives me up a wall.

I'm okay with pretty much all types of manga/anime
for the exception of things like: Yuri, Shoujo-Ai, and Super heavy shoujo romance...
and I mean the types where its just one girl and millions of guys fall in love with her, and then some fight spreads out pfft;;;

I'll watch pretty much anything, but I'm not real into mecha or anything involving sci-fi/space kinda things. Or psst-apocalyptic settings. Just doesn't do it for me.

Anything with incest-type relationships. In love with the stepfather, sister, etc. It makes me really uncomfortable, even though it's only fiction.

EDIT: Apart from one piece, if an anime has too many episodes, I just read the manga, it's faster, no fillers
