Why these freeloaders suck
1) They block the aisles of the bookstore
2) They ruin the spines of the books
3) They ruin the actual pages

I rest my case. :D

Yeah, I guess I bend the spine?
Oh well, Borders doesn't care,
as long as I buy a new drink
every hour.

As for being part of the problem...
sure.
Make them as cheap as the Japanese volumes
and I'll stop buying them in Japanese
and I'll start buying in English.

That story is pretty funny, MMM. I had no idea it was a problem but now I understand. haha

Why so you have a copyright mark on your homepage, Payne222?

It's sarcasm.
XD
We put it 'cause you see people
copyrighting crap left and right.
So we thought it'd be funny.

If you sell less of something, you'll up the price to make the same amount of profit. So if you want them to make comics cheaper, the best route would be to buy them.

What happens is kids go to Borders and treat it like a library. They bust the spine and make a new book a used book in a matter of minutes. They don't care (as Payne222 said) as they aren't going to pay for it. What then happens is a new copy of a book is REMOVED from the aisle and can't be sent back to the publisher, so it is resold as a USED book, even though no one has ever purchased it. See how this sucks for publishers?

It's like if someone went to the gorcery store and stuck their finger into every tomato. All the people who went to make the tomato's work just went out the window. The store can't sell the tomatos as they intended, and the grower doesn't get credit for having satisfied customers. It sucks all around really.

Tell me about your summer job, Payne222.

Yes. People copyright things so they can't be stolen. It's called "intellectual property rights".

I would've never thought...

And I don't have a job, I'm too busy with school
right now. If you must know.
