Judging from how this thread has developed, my advice for the original thread starter is try the Yen Plus magazine. I know I didn't purchase it because I knew about every title in the anthology and the original thread starter didn't recognize any familiar titles, but that could be taken as an opportunity to open your horizons.
I didn't know about Pig Bride or many of the other stories in the book (and only had a vague idea about Higurashi When They Cry from looking at the DVD in a CD shop), but now I do. Finding new stuff you want to follow and purchase in future issues is quite a pleasant experience. |
Alright, I'll look into Yen Plus. I agree with you that it shouldn't matter if I don't know them because I do like watching anime that I've never heard of. It's just the fact I'm paying $50 and don't know if it's really what I want.
Thanks for the Help!:vsign: |

anywayz... have you tried your local used bookstore.....people sell they're other "manga"-zines there.....probably you can get a better idea there as to what exactly you want.... |
Sounds Good.
I'm just going to stop by my local bookstore and see what they have. It's relatively small so I doubt they have very much to offer but hopefully they have something there. |
