A New FullMetal Alchemist
 

Has anyone heard anything on the new FullMetal Alchemist series? I was at AWA when Vic Mignogna unoffically announced that they were working on a new FMA series in Japan and that they were going to attempt to release an American dub on the same release date as the Japanese. I'm excited but he was pretty closed lipped about anything else to do with it. I want to know more.

I heard about it a while ago, when it was leaked as one of Bones next project. It's rumored to begin airing on April 2009. Not further details exist, but from what I've heard it will be the continuation of the first season, but I haven't watched it, so I don't know.

You'll have a hard time finding anything since it was confirmed not to long ago, and no details where given when it was confirmed, so you'll have to wait for a bit longer...

That's true ^^ I don't know if FMA second season Ed and AL still young age in still manga or adult I not sure I want see them forward XDD

Yeah, that was my reaction too, that and the insane urge to glomp Vic. LOL ^_^ At least I know it's confirmed. I guess we'll all have to wait. *sigh*

It was the first anime I ever really got into, and things just fell like Dominoes from there.

hopefully it will mean another DS game too,i've completes Dual Sympathy like 6 six times now :)

We can hope.:D I haven't been able to find Dual Sympathy around my area, but I just won it from ebay. I should get it, hopefully, before I leave on vacation next Friday.:D I can't wait to play it.

it's really cool,you get to use all the different kinds of alchemy and stuff :D plus there's a lot of awesome mini games

I have news on the new anime! It won't actually be a continuation from where the movie left off. It will be an adaptation of the actual manga. No word on the English VAs but Romi Paku and Rie Kugimiya will once again be voicing the roles of Edward and Alphonse Elric and Megumi Toyoguchi will return as Winry Rockbell. The rest of the Japanese cast has changed, except I think for Huges, but I can't remember at the moment. Anyway, here is the rest of the cast list that showed up in Japan's Newtype:

Ah isn't this a remake to follow the manga story line? Since the original series went waaaay off tangent. Similar case of the Hellsing anime. It's original stopped so they could make the OVA series, which followed the manga to the tee.

omg!! i read an article and it said that it will come out in april... AND ITS APRIL!! but then again i could be wrong. :confused:

i hope there isnt another series i hated this show it made no sense to me.

The first ep was great. I like how they introduced the ice alchemist, and the animation was amazing. A great start for the new series =)
