Champloo, I think, has better background in most of the anime episodes than all of the Bebop ones, although Bebop has its moments

I'm pretty content with life right now....For the most part, anyway....Well, at least, I'm pretty sure I am....

let me intro NEW anime that is a MUST watch
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion
Its about 2 childhood friends who have different vision and idea of the world.
1 is a ex Prime Minister's son(Suzaku) of the fallen Japan the other is a fallen Prince of the Nation(Britiania) that ruled over Japan, Lelouch. Suzaku is the pilot of the Britanian Mech(lancelot) which is fighting against Lelouch.
Battle of wits and good graphics. Definitely worth watching.

Alias: Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED DESTINY
Kanji: 機動戦士ガンダムSEED DESTINY
Genres: Action, Mecha, Science-Fiction
Type: TV series
Total episodes: Unknown
Year: 2004

Cosmic Era (C.E.) 70, "Bloody Valentine" tragedy escalated into the war, and the war between Earth Alliance and ZAFT became severe. Making many sacrifices, they achieved a truce after the second battle over the Yakin Due. However, this truce didn't subdue the conflicts between Naturals and Coordinators completely. During the war, Shin Asuka was involved in Earth Alliance's intrusion into Orb. While he was escaping from the fire, he lost his parents and little sister before his face. When he was deep in sorrow gripping her cellular phone, which is the only memento, a Mobile Suit Gundam, which was the principal cause of the war, was flying over his head. Being disappointed, he left Orb and went to Plant. C.E. 73., he became a ZAFT soldier.

For a while I was surprised Miyazaki made Mononoke... Its not a kids movie and he makes all kids movies. Theres blood and death. It was strange he made it but that movie is extremely well done.

And yes, Sailor Moon is all Japanese, 100%
