Kiki's Delivery Service
Nausicaa in The Valley of the Wind
Paprika
Tokyo Godfathers
Fist of the North Star
Bleach: Memories of Nobody
Bleach: Diamond Dusk Rebellion

I'm surprised no one's mention Fullmetal Alchemist - The Conqueror of Shamballa. The only anime I've seen in a movie theater sadly enough, but my god I loved it.

LadyImage 09-22-2009 09:22 AM

Here is what I've seen so far:
Metropolis
Tekken the Movie
Jungle Emperor Leo
Full Metal Alchemist- The Conqueror of Shamballa
Evanglion
Spirited Away
All 13 DBZ Movies
The 2 special DBZ Movies
Ghost in a Shell
Both Final Fantasy Movies
Street Fighter
3 Tenchi Mayo! Movies
First 3 of the Pokemon Movies

This what I can think of at the moment.

I want to add 2 to the list

Sky Crawlers (which is visually stunning)

Sword of the Stranger (some of the best sword play iv seen in an anime in a while)

Both are available on DVD and Bluray.

watson13 10-15-2011 05:25 AM

favorite 'The Lover Who Leapt Through Abstraction'! Person anime movie e'er. The happening was sad, tho. (Gallant departed was pretty sainted, also). Anyway, I also liked all 4 InuYasha movies, Howel's billowing residence (OMB, Howel!), Totoro, and fundamentally anything by Hayao Miyazaki.

Two months ago I saw Redline which was really cool. If you like it you might like Trava: Fist Planet which was the inspiration for Redline.

Summer Wars is awesome, and it was made by the same people who did The Girl That Leapt Through Time.

Suzumiya_Haruhi no Shoushitsu was also a good movie, but if you're not familiar with the ongoing anime series maybe you won't appreciate it as much. But Yeah you might check out the series Suzumiya Haruhi no Juutsu or The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (2 seasons) incase you haven't seen it yet.
