any good anime movies?
 

haha im still at winter break and i have nothing to do. i've watched "the girl who leapt through time" and "brave story". both very good movies. do you know any other?

If you are into psychological thriller type movies, I suggest 'Perfect Blue'.

if you liked 'the girl who leapt through time' you'll probably like 'spirited away'

I saw "millenum Actress" and it was really good and complex.

Death Note Movie
 

I don't know if this counts, but they turned the Death Note anime into a movie, like, with actual people and it was pretty friggen good. L was awesome!!:rheart: they didn't have Mello or Near or Matt, but it was pretty good. I saw it in English with the anime dub in theaters, but you can watch it with the Japanese dub on youtube, too.

loved 'The Girl Who Leapt Through Time'! Best anime movie ever. The ending was sad, tho. (Spirited away was pretty good, also). Anyway, I also liked all 4 InuYasha movies, Howel's moving castle (OMB, :rheart: Howel!), Totoro, and basically anything by Hayao Miyazaki.

I saw Ultimate teacher sometime back and it was hillarious, so I say go for that one...

5 cm per second is THEE BEST MOVIE.

my friend reccomended me that movie and i just finished it last night. it was sad. well thats what i thought of it. made me cry haha

Watch Grave of the Fireflies with me... I've owned the movie for almost a year now and haven't watched it yet. XD

That movie is such a tear jerker. I was sobbing like a baby at the end.

My absolute favorite anime movies ever were Vampire Hunter D and The Last Unicorn

Also good, Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Ninja Scroll and Mononoke-hime and of course - Spirited Away.

YAY! Someone mentioned the Ghost in the Shell movies! They were both pretty awesome.

Also Kite was amazing. Look it up.

I highly recommend Tekkon Kinkreet! It is sooo good. I'm also watching Paprika right now, and it seems to be very good.

I'm really suprized no one has said final fantasy seven. VERY good movie!!!

I don't watch movies online, i hate streaming (quality) i only watch them on DVD's

Hayao Miyazaki's movies are awesome:
Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Porco Rosso, Castle in the Sky, Valley of the Wind, Princess Mononoke are some of his best movies (in my opinion)

I also enjoyed watching:
Paprika, The Cat Returns, Grave of the Fireflies

and then there's the real action movies:
Nobody Knows (one of my favorite movies of all time)
GO
Shinobi
Death Note (three movies)

and I just have to mention a few other asian movies even though they're not japanese they are definitely worth watching:
House of Flying Daggers - Chinese
Curse of the Golden Flower - Chinese
Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance - Korean
Lady Vengeance - Korean
Old Boy - Korean
Bin Jip - Korean

I could go on forever, but these are some of my favorites :rheart:

The Escaflowne Movie is pretty awesome! Doesnt follow the series, has more action and better animation

if you're looking for something to make you cry, I suggest The Place Promised In Our Early Days... I hate it so much it's so tragical and sad and everything T_______T but it made me realize what I really want! I want to go home... when I first watched it, I was pretty far from home, now I'm almost there =P

I'm really looking forward to Summer Wars and Cencoroll, which is coming soon.
