I LOVE Hajime no Ippo, which is still on going, then there is also Taiyou no Mokushiroku, Sakigake Otokojuku was also ok, Restore garage 251, Shura no Mon and Shura no Toki

Whats an old anime you love?
Just wanted to know what old anime some people want remade. My pick would be Now and Then, Here and There. The story was great to me, and it made me think. The horrors of war not only effect soldiers, but even the people caught in it. From death to sexual abuse, no one is safe.
I want more people to watch this, even if they aren't anime fans just to see this stuff. But, I don't expect to many people to go and track down the DVDs or VHSs, so that is why I think a remake would be nice. |
In the 80's I used to enjoy Zillion...but the channel which aired it was so lame that I couldn't check out all the episodes...
Youtube really saves the day. |

Even though I've only gotten to see one episode in its origional Japanese form with subtites, I have to say Kyatto Ninden Teyandee, which in america was "Samurai Pizza Cats". I would love to find either raws or fansubs of the entire series.

My favorites are Rumiko Takahashi's work from the 80s' and 90s'. Maisen Ikkoku, Urusei Yatsura and Ranma 1/2 are all good.
