A lot of the anime I watched as a kid I probably wouldn't enjoy anymore.
Cowboy Bebop is probably one of the greatest series ever conceived. Sadly, I know people who won't watch it because CN got a hold of it. Ridiculous, right? Grave of the Fireflies... not a series, but such a moving war story... I cried. Did you? I'm inclined to believe I could still enjoy Gundam Wing and the Tenchi series. Gundam tends to be more adult (storyline-wise) and slow-moving. I'm big into plot, and I'm patient :P I've never been able to get into anime that's too old-school. The animation quality and dubbing tends to bother me. |

from all those mentioned until now I only liked cowboy bebop and ghost in the shell,
also liked evangelion and when I was a kid I used to see alot of saint seiya or knights of zodiac aka "caballeros del zodiaco" (in my country) but I dont think I would watch it again. |
I liked most of the above mentioned. Especially Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw Star. Trigun, G Gundam wasn't really OLD for me... But, eh. Gundam Wing was great.
Cyborg 009 and Kikaider were my loves back in the day. Along with Lupin the Third; I remember staying up soooooo late on school nights just to see that show... >.< Big O played a part in my life while in middle school. And... Case Closed was a fun way to start a weekend with my friends over at my house. DBZ and Db were great as well. |

Interesting how people posting here think that an anime from roughly 10 years ago is old? Heh you dont get that with books...
And are we restricted to anime series? I'm really surprised no-ones mentioned either Akira or Ghost in the Shell (the original movie). Or Guyver, though I never did like all that violence. Anyway here goes: Evangelion Nadesico Gundam (pick one. Any one) Cardcaptor Sakura (yes, I liked it. So sue me) DBZ Oh, and Digimon. What? I'm a big kid with a cold and heratless...heart....*goes back to just reading this place again* |
Rurouni Kenshin and Slayers are probably the oldest anime series in which I still frequently watch and love even though 12 years isn't very long they still rank in as the oldest.

my favorite anime ( old ) would be..
Chōdenji Mashīn Borutesu Faibu ( Super Electromagnetic Machine Voltes Five ) i used to sing the opening song with my cousins.. i remember steve.. and the rest of the gang.. LOL.. it took me years to get over that anime. :P in fact i still remember some of the lyrics of the opening song.. Tatoe arashi ga hukou tomo Tatoe oonami areru tomo Kogidasou tatakai no umi he LOL i can only remember that much. :) |
