I love Battlecry (first and second verse memorized) and the ending song I have entirely memorized, Japanese AND english versions of it..I hate how on [adultswim] they do not play the entire ending song:( Damn, when I watch this show, I think to myself (quietly, of course) "Man, I sure was born into the wrong era..." Well...sometimes I think that radomly...then I remind myself that without tv I'd never see Sam Cham and w/o the 'puter I'd never research all the smartivityness I have...:D

The one thing I hate about how people treat Mugen and Jin...no, they do NOT NOT NOT make a good yaoi couple! NO NO NO! Mugen is anything BUT and Jin...well, sometimes, I'm not sure...lol

Did anybody else like the episode with baseball and the one at the red light district? How could Mugen be so dense and naive?! Still awsome that he slaughtered everybody! :ywave: |
I love champloo, mostly because it doesn't fall victem to the things many cliche anime fall victem to. Not the same jokes or anything. Plus, it just rocks.

Samurai Champloo is one of the best!
The end was kinda a let down though, compared to the rest of the series. I would have thought it would be a lot more...well, dramatic? |
I didn't like the soundtrack that much (don't kill me) but I did like the anime, like the storyline and everything. My sig proves that ^^

I didn't mind Battle Cry but I didn't like the ending theme. I also thought it was funny/odd when those three guys came along beat boxing..... But SC is one of my alltime favorite anime. The ending left it pretty open. I wish they'd make a sequal...... I doubt it though. Oh maybe a prequal of Jin and Mugen's life before they ran into Fuu. That would be amazing.
And Mugen and Jin as a couple....... couldn't see it. It's just too wierd!!! |

They didn't have any information on Mugen's and Jin's life... but it is explained fairly vaguely at best. It does go into detail like the situation with Jin and his sensei (will not say more at risk of ruining for someone else) and Mugen's... relative...

I just got into Samurai champloo ^_^ I'm at episode 8 now :D
I must say the OP really stank... but over time, i got used to it and kinda got attracted to the catchy tune :p The beatboxing during the show is great, it stands out from other anime in that sense ;) Yeeah... A samurai that smells like sunflowers? what could be lamer? :confused: Well, unless it's a female samurai, then i wouldn't be surprised ^^ Girls smell good in general, not that im a perv or anything rofl :mtongue: |

the OST is so good,
good story line and hilarious content as well as action, but i was kinda hoping the samurai jin and swordsman mugen would actually DIE for good in the end to make the anime a more sad/dramatic end instead of the oh let's split way :-/ lol |
Samurai Champloo Rox! It's totally the shiznit. It was a lot cooler than I thought It would be at first and then I got totally hooked.
