well id rather not 'get off my high horse' cuz that sounds more like telling me to become as immoral as that book. and i can voice my opinion, just as much as you can say i cant voice it

everyones allowed an opinion of course:p Anyways, if people want to be immoral (which looking at yaoi manga is NOT) then its their choice and should not be censored. No one is harmed in the making of yaoi or shota. It says expressively that "No drawings are based off real adults or children" on all such mangas.

not real people, no...but they are still human.

im not much of a nihilist so im going to make my own moral code, and this is on the gross/nasty list

True, it's my opinion. And, also as I said, bottom line is that its our choice. Thankfully we are allowed that freedom.

How are they human if they are not real people? That makes no sense. They are characters in a story. Unless someone is seriously disturbed in the first place they would not think of it in any other way.

Maybe if you were a child and reading it it could harm you psychologically. Just like adults who watch violent movies(which most are nowadays) are not going to go out and kill someone, someone who reads shota is not going to go out and rape children just because of seeing it.

really? cuz they look pretty human based to me.... it basically appears as if someone wants to see something like that in real life, but its illegal so they just draw it.

i can see justice in some motives towards a death.... i can never, ever see a good motive towards reading that crap... its just to get yourself off/happy..and that is whats sickening.. and thats on par with a serial killer with no motive besides insanity. and as for yaoi, i can understand there is nothing wrong with it for most people. but to me, its the most absolutely immoral thing someone could do.. and thats purely my view.

i don't see any moral problems with it. i just think that you could basically find anything they do on paper online..

I agree.. And the pedophilia part of it is such a small section of the genre...Even though it's called "Boys Love" Most stories feature post-pubescent characters.

No, I think it was much more than that... You're entitled to how you feel, and there's nothing wrong with that. I just wanted to get in my 2 cents.
