I've decided to make a fan-thread dedicated to L (A.K.A Ryuzaki, Ryuuga) of Death Note. Heres to the coolest crime-solving, OCD, sugarloving guy to ever walk the face of the anime earth xD. Are there any other L fans out there?

...I suppose thats true...but does it make L any less awesome? I think not =P. Here's a question; do you think the writers expected to have L become the awesomest character ever, or did it just happen? As in, were they expecting him to become the fan favorite (Similar to Itachi of that damned show, Naruto?)?
