I do not see why one of us guys would not be clean and take care of ourselfs .But livin in the country its not hard to get all kinds of dirty.

@Ronin i thought it was only swimming jocks that shaved they're selfs or a few others?

But i prefer being clean myself .Nothin better then using Irish Spring. Heck sometimes for when you can not use some shaving creams that break you out.

hand soap on the face and hot water work well. Plus a sharp knife can work for traveling to shave.

I do not really find it great to use make up and all kinds of other things that give you less money but things around you can work quite well.

Plus i finding it stupid when you buy stuff for covering scars. :vsign:

i do. almost everything below neck(to much infoO.O?!). i hate facial hair too. it just annoys me. im extremely hygienic, to an obsessive point

You guys mostly mentioned shaving armpits and stuff, but more about legs. What do girls really think about guys shaving their legs, and whats the best way to do it? I heard if a guy shaves his legs, the girl might think he's gay or something >.> Sounds like BS to me.

I've never really cared, in fact it shows off their leg muscles if it's shaved.
Half of the time when they are shaved, (when I see it) , it's for sports
and is required. So I never pay much attention to it as a "gay" thing but
a lot of girls I know think that.

I hope nobody thinks that way, but some probably do. It's stupid. Those people need to stop being so anal and prejudiced about outer appearance. Just because a guy wants to shave his legs and look tidy doesn't mean he's feminine or gay. -.-;;

That is not what I was getting at, at the end of CarleyGee's post, she said that she knew girls that thought that way. I was asking if they thought swimmers were gay because they shave their legs too for competition?

EEEEEHHH I have this whole issue w/ armpit/chest hair on guys. It seriously grosses me out...to the point where I don't like to go swimming with guys much because of their hair. lol

I only shave my face once a week under the shower. Sometimes twice a week, but inbetween wet shavings I use an electric razor since my skin won't tolerate wet shaving twice a week (or every day for that matter). Shaving every day would create only a bloody mess.
Even though I have body hair in more places then normal (including shoulders and back) I don't plan on removing that; I live alone and I'm not supple enough to reach everything...

I'm a hairy guy aswell, and I feel the same way about shaving facial hair too. IT annoys me, and pisses me off. So much hassle.

But I shave armpit hair for hygiene. Like I've explained before, the reason your armpit sweat smells, is because of the hair you have there. IF there's no hair, there is no smell.

If I may be the devil's advocate here, girls take way longer to shave than we do(if your just shaving your face, I haven't timed the armpit thing so I wouldn't know). Thankfully I have relatively light facial hair so I just shave with water and a razor.

Wow so much of you dont like hairy chests.But honestly i cut mine off i work out to much.Plus do to muc work and dont like the sweat from it.

But they're is us guys who all ready have em when we were young.But i do sometimes use stuff for the black rings that are really thickfor the eyes .

Is it that bad cridgit001? I Actually shave mine off i work out to much and work outside i do not like the sweat from it and for armpits i zap em off.

I shave every day and a half grows back to quick ..facial hair is bad. My hair is like touching a steel brush which i know nothing of how to get rid of that effect.

Armpit hair is really easy to shave. In the shower, take a blade to it once or twice, and it's gone. Ease.

And my facial hair is thick, regardless of me being 18. It's annoying to shave.

Shaving is a pain in the ass.

Coming from a Hispanic background doesn't really help when you have massive amounts of hair under your armpits >_<' I shave mine everyday.

But girls usually take longer to do it since they have more places to shave off hair. Lol.

now that doe's not exactly make you gay but that is a good percent of people that think that. Heck When i played Football ( not Soccer) in middle school and in high school and baseball . Us Jocks did that a lot.

I am totally different then the people you would think of when jock comes to mind . I mean i played and praticed and went to games then cleaned up and through my black clothes back on and left :vsign:

i have no clue. i have never thought to use baby oil in my hair. is your hair really short? that would make it seam wirey.

Same here, I used to play baseball, football(not soccer), basketball, and some track at the end. I got tired of it in high school so I only did track my junior year.

My personal cleaning habits are very meticulous, however shaving of anything below the neck has never been my cup of tea...ew I just put shaving and tea in the same sentence...I apologize.

Maybe some people enjoy being shaved...I am not one of them.
