That's so horrible...
What goes through peoples' mind to think that this is fun/enjoyable/a good chunk of time to spend doing is beyond me. How awful her family must have felt as well to be told she ran away, then find out their daughter went through all of that and even asked to be killed. |
There's a manga series?! What the heck?! That's sick!

Yes, it's true. The mangaka is seriously demented. It's scary to think that there are minds this twisted out there in society.

Missed this thread last year. That's just incredibly disturbing, but not as disturbing as the short sentences each boy received.
So that's how the Japanese system works, eh? Just because they were juveniles, they technically were allowed to get away with it. I find it even more sad that because of how powerful the Yakuza is, that the parents who owned the house that the girl was being held captive in, didn't help her or those who knew or suspected something was wrong didn't help. To be capable of committing such a crime is grounds to me for life imprisonment. No remorse was shown for the crime, which shows, to me anyway, that they could commit the same crime again without thinking twice about it. |
Evil exists in the world, it really does.

At situations like this, you'd wish there was the "eye for an eye" punishment system in Japan. "Rapist phycos in concrete", now that would be a good name for manga.
