This is probably one of the funniest MadTv videos ever. Probably only because I love Asia. I hope no one gets offended and says it's racism, because it's just funny. And Bobby Lee is just amazing.

Yeah, my girlfriend and I walk around the house going "Aren't Asians great! They're the smartest people in the world." It's pretty amusing.

And yeah, Gwen Stefani is pretty ridiculous these days. Her days in No Doubt were awesome though.

I actually enjoy Gwen Stefani's music and I think she's very pretty. I don't really have a problem with her enjoyment of Japanese culture.

Gwen Stefani is not my cup of tea.

I wasn't aware she was obsessed with Asia though.

I mean she had those four dancers... but other than that.

I'm not much of a fan so I don't follow her.

I'll be honest, I think some of her songs are good; a few of them are catchy.
She does seem a little weird, though.

I never said I had a problem with it o.O Geez. Everyone misunderstands all of my threads. This wasn't meant to poke fun at Gwen, I just thought the stereotypical things about Asians were funny. Because they're so stereotypical.

The Asian's being small in the pants thing is so unfunny to me.

It really annoys me because

a) it's not true... and
b) even if it was... so what?

I wasn't offended by it in the context of the song... but when I hear that stereotype it really irks me.

It doesn't matter if it's true or not true, it's a myth. Just like black guys are supposed to be big in the pants. That can't be true about all of them, just like all Asian guys can't be small. Although I don't care about what's in guy's pants anyway.

And that's exactly what I meant! It's sooo stereotypical. Like that Asians can't drive and they're small in their pants. Some of it was historically correct though. Like Chinese women binding their feet and giving up newborn girls and such. Sad, really. But I thought it was funny. Sometimes you just need to have a sense of humor to appreciate things.

But it does slightly annoy me that somewhere out there... the intended humour is lost on people and instead some of these ideas (especially the penis size one which I find quite really disgusting) will be reinforced.

could have something too do with the average height, asians are like 20% shorter than black and if you follow the scale naturally asians in general will be smaller ;p

Well yeah... I do believe that the population average is different.

But the stereotype implies that Asian/Black men are significantly undersized/oversized.

Blacks either munch on chicken and get a bit phat booty/manbooty or they pick up sports or anything physical.

Asians pick up maths and consume more calories solving the theorem of life or open a shop.

White people just want to mix every where, they want to be everything, they want to take over.

We have a few white folks here who are hell bent on thinking their soul is wapanese.
