BusterWolfXII 04-06-2009 02:24 AM

My username mainly came from a desperate need for a new username.

It's the name of one of my favourite KOF characters'(he's the one in my avatar) special attacks, with the XII being the next installment in the series, which I am excited for.

Yes I know, I learned that when I started to take in interest in Japanese language.
Which reminds me of a time when I started using it in forums, and didn't understand why many people called me "Brother" or "Big Brother".

MoshixMoshi 04-06-2009 01:20 PM

Moshi moshi...like answering the telephone in japanese..I thought it was such a cute sounding phrase.

Normally I don't go for cute...heh

iPhantom 04-06-2009 05:29 PM

I wanted to make a weird name when playing Rose Online. I went for iPhone... taken. iTunes... taken. I tried every brand and then I gave up.

On tv there was phantom of the opera and I thought it sounded good. So it is iPhantom. Though I usually have changed nicknames each 2 years.

OujiLolita 04-08-2009 06:17 PM

'Ouji' as Prince.
'Lolita' as Young Girl and also as Lolita style.

Because I am vain and proud and I crossdress in Lolita :D

ZaikaYumi 04-08-2009 10:56 PM

Zaika - a variation of my last name
Yumi - a variation of my first name

DSX 04-09-2009 06:59 PM

DSX: Stands for Dark Soul X. I came up with this a few years ago, when I was very much a darker person. Even though I changed my user name twice on another website after coming up with this, I went back to Dark Soul X on that one and DSX on this one because I was too lazy to type out the entire thing when I signed up on here.

burkhartdesu 04-09-2009 07:13 PM

burkhart is my last name, and of course "desu" -- for which there is no satisfactory translation.

I was thinking of what my screenname should be... and these were the candidates:

kusaine
soba-jin
braintumor

This seemed like the best option

Pexster 04-09-2009 07:50 PM
