I guess I stopped to watch before this.

thats true
i havent seen scarface since 2004 which was the first time i saw the film

MMM's knowledge of things amaze me sometimes, the best thing is he keeps it real 100 percent of the time and he wont comment unless he's sure

its one of those things where if MMM says it, it must be true, when it comes to facts, not opinions, cus i have my own opinion on things myself which may differ

He sure knows a lot if he has over 6k comments and comments only when he's sure.

lol
yea but hes been on this cite for a long time tho
every time im about to comment and i see his, he usually has hard core evidence to back em too
i can only feel like he being real

thats one thing i can respect about anybody on the planet
u can be a killer, but if you keep it 100 all the time, imma have respect for u period..

Thanks, Compaqmac. Though, of course this is a thread only about opinions, there are no facts to back up who is better in one movie or another (and two very different movies and very different roles by very different actors), but, like you said, I try to keep it real.

I felt like Heath transformed his character from a cartoon cut out into something infinitely more disturbing and memorable to boot.

Lets say that Jack Nicholson is VERY far behind.

ok as a chick I'll have to say that both performances were a breakthrough for the decade they were released in in. Yes Scarface was a brutal look at a cocaine king...(& was also the main reason why I never touched that stuff in the first place...to this day I hate the sound of sniffling noses...even my own when I'm sick), & yes it is a classic that I hope to god does not get remade but then one of the reasons why it gets so over the top is due to the influence its made on todays youth...through music, parodies, shirts, what have you.
The joker on the other hand reflects on what this society is witnessing now: dark events becoming more rampant in the world (of course i'm talking about war, drug use etc., etc., etc.). if im correct, didnt scarface kill more people than the Joker did (in their respective movies i mean)? & i know people have questioned this to the point of wanting to hurt someone, but how would this role be if Heath Ledger have lived?
i hope this made sense...

well i heard somewhere that theres a film about Pablo Escobar being made so that might be close !

Scarface wins hands down anytime, its the numero uno ! best film in the whole wide world which to this day affect people more deeply than batman ever could wish to do.

Tony Montana would cut the Jokers throught and make that B**** squeal like a little piggy !! ehhh Reload it !!!
