If you say that to fake Twilight fans, of course. There are sane Twilighters out there, but those people just ruin our name.

FAIL

Have you ever wondered if there was more to life, other than being really, really, ridiculously good looking?

I've never met a sane fan in my life.

If one is not obsessing about how "HAWT" the male characters are, then they aren't fans of the book (cause really, what else is in the book to is there to obsess over, or even LIKE? There is no story, no plot, no conflicts, no character develops to enjoy, all the characters are flat and never change. What else can they enjoy other then their image of the perfect attractive vampire stalking an average human?)

Ive got to say i read the first book after i was forced to see the first movie with my gf it was a trade for watchmen. i heard it was so great and it really was ok. maybe. but it was so slow and i don't know about character dev. as i havn't read the whole series. but the biggest shock i had was when my gf's friend pulled her aside to tell her that she thinks was falling for edward. O_o IT'S A BOOK! THE CHARACTERS ARE FICTIONAL THERE IS NOTHING REAL ABOUT THEM!!!!!!!!!!!

just saying

Stephanie Meyer needs to "go away." I would have used harsher language but it's not allowed on JF.

Writers are alike in the way that they take myths or common knowledge and turn it into a really good book. Stephanie Meyer is one of those writers. She does not deserve to be trashed like this. What if I said Anne Rice sucked? Then what?

IMO, I could care less about the myth and common knowledge. It's a crappy book because it's written badly and has nothing to keep me interested. Meyer has brainwashed preteen girls into thinking that a fictional perfect vampire can fall in love with them, and has lured in a fandom that has nothing real to follow.

She deserves to be bashed because she thinks herself great and amazing for that
