You are sadly mistaken on the lot of that. First off, McCain was almost never hear of in the beginning of the fight for the Republican nomination, to the point that NO media outlet focused on him. Secondly voters of the states CHOOSE there candidate not the media. I will give that the media played an HUGE role in helping there candidate when but, ultimately the voters decide.

Problem is not necessarily Obama, but the congress. Obama does not, and can not act alone in passing law. Checks and balances is the phrase, that stands how are government is supposed to work.
