I am just new here so I can not really judge about this but from what I read in the threads so far I can say that this is nothing like one of those computer forums, where 14years old Counter Strike Cowboys think they are the greatest Windows Vista hackers and start verbal gunfights in horrible grammar. So Columbine is kinda right here when he sais that our members are polite and well behaved.

And burkhartdesu: I was searching for a Japan forum for a while before I registered here but they were all about J-Rock and Anime. I wanted to talk about Japan, travelling, studying, language, and so on so I decided to register here even though I am from Germany and not a native english speaker. Haven't seen too many J-Rock threads in the "new posts" section so far but you might be right here. For many people Japan just means Music, Manga, Anime.

Crazy people are not just to find in this forum and so are threads that are far away from the Japan topic. That's basically the fuel of a forum. :pandasmile:

Aside from this forum bieng polite and diverse, its a bit easier to interact and feel apart of it than most other forums. When you post something, theres not some dope immediatly flaming you. Also your posts aren't tottaly ignored, and from what ive seen, any negative responses are done quite nicely and there is a plethora of different topics and threads to add your two cents in. so i'd have to agree this forum is a bit Unique compared to most forums out there

Meh, JF is a small community, when a community is small, people get to know eachother. I suppose that me telling you guys when something happens in my life is...unique? Nah, just a topic of discussion. Still, I frequent other forums and none are as close as JF is.
