I agree, that's why I don't understand a friend of mine. He just bought a Samsung Star, even though he already had a cellphone (which he never used), and an Ipod, which he also leaves at home. The only thing he's doing with the Samsung Star is playing games on it...:bigears:

It's necessary to me because with it I can keep in touch with my family whenever I'm not at home, I can text with friends wherever I am [and if I've got signal:p], I can play games [lame ones they are, but they keep you entertained.]

My cell phone is a necessity. I use it for everything. It's my calculator, address book, alarm clock, and telephone that I can use anywhere. It's so convenient and awesome I can't imagine not having it. Not to mention how useful it is when I have an emergency.
Texting is cool too becuase I don't always feel like being social with my friends or family so instead of calling them and talking forever, I can send a text and get the answer to my question without feeling rude for rushing off the phone.

Mine does not even work and I use it. Calendar, stop watch, clock, calculator, currency conversion, camera, video camera, mp3 player....

ya i have a perpouse for having a phone cuz i have a girlfriend now and i have a secret girlfriend also who is hotter then my real girlfriend so i find it to be annoying when i`m out with one of them so ya

i live in the city like las vegas ok and people do not text me and call me or even pick up their when i call them and text them so im not messing anything important at all. and its not that helpful cuz but the time u do what ever with the fight u r like owend ok

Cell phone is very important, of course. I mostly use it for listening music and such, but isn't it nice it's also useful for contacting family and friends? I like sending text messages to friends and calling families for important matters...

i do not find it important in my life it just made it worst for me so im going to ask my mom to kick me out of her plan cuz no one picks up there phones or texts me back so im like whatever and im 17

Either way, I like keeping in contact with people.. It's easy through phone.
