Hello! I'm Mona. A 20-year-old Arab girl. I'm a third year at Uni, studying linguistics and the translation between English and Arabic. I'm self-studying Japanese.

Interests: linguistics, religion, philosophy, music, drawing, spirituality, dreams, dream interpreting, etc.

I'm also very interested in the cultures of East Asia, especially the Japanese culture. Hopefully, I will be good at Japanese oneday, and travel to Japan with my mum, as I've promised her before.

I'm about to be a published writer. The main character is an Arab girl, and there's an absent central character who is a Korean. I've made a small interaction between three cultures in my novel; the Arabic culture, the American culture, and the Korean culture. Not telling you the story now, but hope you will hear about it, or read it, when it's translated to English, or Japnese, or Korean, etc. ^^

Regards.

Original art/music - 02-10-2010, 01:15 PM

Hello! Just joined your server. So far the community look strong. I live in the South Eastern region of the States and commit most of my time to either work/school/or music. Many different influences are seen amongst my art and right now I have about 30+ different genres influencing my music. Most of my music and art is at Silent Objections if you were curious. Anyways, I drive a 1989 Toyota Supra and spend a good bit of time shooting photography with the local "drifters". I look forward to expanding my horizons with the new cultural interests I have with Asia.
