Intentions: I dunno. was randomly surfing the webs searching for a guide to learns Japanese from the basics, and making some friends in the process, so I came here, and it's a lovely place ^^

Why do you want to go to japan: Not only want to go :/ I wish I could live there, learn about their culture.... too bad I don't have the neccesary money.... at least, my girlfriend and me wish to go there for a long time... Meanwhile, I will learn some Japanese with your help also ^^

Here for: cure to boredom, improving my japanese, meeting like-minded people.
Why you want to go to Japan: Several different reasons that all ultimately started with cars and food I guess. I always liked Japanese food and lusted after Japanese cars when I was a kid(I'm lucky enough to own one now :D ). I started watching Initial D because of my interest in cars which really got me interested in the language. I've taken 2 semesters of Japanese so far, and I'm signed up for a third. During this time I've become interested in anime and Japanese culture as a whole. I've never been outside of the U.S. and I'm currently saving up money for a trip to Japan either next year, or after I graduate.

Yello!! Which food do you like? I've wanted to try taiyaki for a while now . . . I've taken Japanese classes for one full semester, I'm in my second now. . .Currently learning Katakana! I know all the characters, We're just practicing turning location names to Katakana . . . I like sushi :D Need a list of anime to watch? What genres intrest you?
