Hello, my name is Bernard. I am 26 years old, and I am from the United States. I've been playing Japanese arcade games since my late teens, and I've been checking out Japanese web sites for learning how to play these games at a world-class level. But to translate these sites, I've been getting by with just a machine translator, like Google Translate. Just recently, my boss at work indicated that he's learning the Japanese language, so that motivated me to finally learn Japanese too.

Right now, I'm studying Japanese every day for about an hour a day. It's really fun, and I hope to understand some basic Japanese soon!
