I respect my parents and they respect me. They trust me, therefore I don't do anything to break that trust.

I think respecting your parents is important, however for those in situations where there parents are the "immature" ones so to speak. Treating you as if you were nothing, I can understand where it would be hard.

I never said I didn't understand. I kinda stated myself. But you saw, that I was against you, so you refused to see that part.

i left home when I was 16, for the university. It was not easy mind you. From that point on, I make all the decision by what food to eat, how to spend my money .. everything.

very true.. I truly believe this. Respect is not something that can be given freely , you have to earn it , and Parents are not excluded with this.
I am just happy that I have this kind of parents :rheart:

I agree with you there. There are MANY parents who demand respect, and give none back.

But , hey what you gonna do? Leave them try and find a job and live by yourself?

live by yourself? No. There was a time in my or in our live that we do feel rebellious towards our parents and that we feel that they don't respect us , me included. That time I really really want to live the comfort of my home and show to them that I can do it. But hey what can I do? I don't have anywhere to go, I don't even know how to earn money. If Im going to show to them that I can do it, then I will take their challenge. PREPARATION. STUDY.. if your parents are still providing you, then take it and use it, you have the right for it.

The world is cruel, so cruel. You have to prepare to face it.
