Smoking Rate Drops Among Japanese Men
 
The ratio of Japanese men who smoke continues to decline, falling below 40 percent for the first time in 2005 since the first survey was taken in 1986.

Combining Japanese men and Japanese women, the number of smokers fell 2.2 points to 24.2 percent.

Actually, they`ve been gone for a while. The campaigns about throwing them away properly has had a big effect.

Men? What about women? Don't they smoke? =/

40% is still a lot. In Spain smokers are 25,8%. I don't understand since I see people smoking everywhere.
