Going to Japan as High School Exchange Student -

Hey Guys,
I'm planning on going to Japan next year with a couple of mates on exchange for about 2-3months into a high school and I just want to know when are the school holidays in tokyo usually and um... when is the best time do you think I should go? I want to go so that I have school time there and also holiday time, as I really want to explore some places or like go to a shrine  Cheers, Josh!!

I was going to japan as a foreign exchange student(high skool) for my Senior year, but I messed that opportunity up. >.<"!!

Hey, Thanks alot guys
, I really did not want to waste an opportuninty because a couple of nights ago I was like... If I don't go, I will never experience a Japanese high school in my lifetime. SO i Decided to do it  .Yes I think I will go around the cherry blossom time as it will look really nice... Thanks alot. Much appreciated
