My girlfriend and I will be heading to Tokyo for a nine day trip in September. First time for both of us...getting very excited!

Hi All,

Its both our first time to tokyo. Any good recommendation i can go for local food, shopping for branded items and places of interest like nice shrines or parks?? Also, i will also be heading to hakone to stay in ryokan? any good one to recommend?

I will be in Japan for 6 days (Tokyo, Chiba, Fukushima and Okinawa) in mid to late September. Fukushima for a work conference, Tokyo and Chiba to visit a dear friend, and Okinawa to visit my aunt.

As to me, I want to visit Japan next spring (april, 2011), as a tourist, with my wife, for 9 days only. It will be the first time for us to see such wonderful country.

Going To Japan But Need Some Assistance
 
An American promoter is trying to set up a tour for my band in Japan- but doesn't have a clue about band equipment. Any suggestions as to who I can contact in Japan for rentals? Yamaha is already doing our sound system, keyboards and drums but we need somebody knowledgeable about available guitar amps and music store (equipment) locations. Surprisingly (not very), there isn't anybody I've been able to find who will supply this info for free IN ENGLISH...

In my experience all clubs have amps there.
