Don't forget to raise before getting in the hot spring or tub. and never drain the water. another reason why you clean your self out side the tub is because it only there for relaxation and people share the bath water. =) Suds in the tub are bad hehehehe. Just think of it as an american hot tub a lot of people also go in there bathing suits to these things.

The towel is often soaked in cold water. Having it around your head lowers the body temperature so you do not pass out from heat exhaustion in the hot water. Otherwise it's to soak up the perspiration from the forehead.
