Hot Topic In Japan????
 

hiyas everyone! i was just wondering if japan has a HOT TOPIC??? its a really popular in the U.S. so i was just wondering. if any one else has questions about the fashion of Japan, feel free to ask, im sure some kind person will come along and answer them!!!;)

japan has its own shops, like america there is a variety of shops, they may have something similar to hot topic, but hot topic isn't really a global thing...
I haven't seen one in LONDON anyways, and thats a major global city.

hot topic is only in the united states.

why on earth would they have a hottopic.... lol

harajuku street is like hottopic on crack and steroids

lolita, visual kei, goth, hip hop, raver, maid, cosplay, etc etc etc allll over the place.

opening a hot topic in japan would be like opening a Kmart on rodeo dr.

lol. you have a piont! i was just wondering if they did or not. it seems like they have alot of shopping stores there!

i think H.Naoto would suffice for Hot Topic. C:

hot topic also has all kinds of random things...like the one in tennessee had this pair of shoes that were completely random. they had like frogs and crud on them haha

really? the one near where i live has this invader Zim t-shirt that has Girr on the front of it screaming "SCARY MONKEY SHOW!!!!" i bought it.^_^

true... so maybe I should say H.Naoto is better.

i saw that one ^^...there was also one with cheese from imaginary friends and t said MY COMMERCIAL

yeah i saw that one too. i also like the one where it has blue on the front and the shirt says "icy chill"

yeah....i also like the plaid skirts. me annd a friend are gonna get them and wear them as halloween costumes. we did that this year but we werent prepared so we got called prositutes haha

lol. yeah those skirts are really something. there jackets and belts r coolio 2.

ya for reals. I like the long black jacket and it has cherries all over it

Hot Topic is one of my favorite stores. I just bought a Death Note shirt the other day

did it have stuff on the front and have a big [letter] L on the back?? if so, my friend got one as well

the one I got has Light and Ryuuku on the front and says Death Note at the top, I don't think it has an L on the back.

me and some other people were pokin him [before he got the shirt] callin him L cus he acted just like him so he got the shirt lol

Yes I love Hottopic even know from where I live if you shop there your either Goth or Emo. I hate styeropyting(sp?) But yhea I bought a Gir shirt there that say I Love you piggy I can't rememberr xD But yes Hottopic is the best. :D

What's odd to me is when you have "normal" types... and really young kids...

the best part about going to hot topic is going dressed in random outfits. I wore a pair of bleached blue jeans and a tie dye shirt....i got so many looks XD

no. I'm saying literally. I see just people who don't do visual kei or anything... just kinda I guess average or preppy-ish? really hard to explain or describe.

ah. mkay then. but i dont see much prepps going into hot topic. i see more of the punk rockers, punks, emos, sadists, etc etc etc in hot topic.

it sucks. i live in a big city... and the nearest hot topic is like 50 miles away. WTF!? so my sister and i just order online. but still... it's annoying.

well there is cute salad and a few others. you can find alot of the brand names in magazines, like sojobeat and animeinsider.

hot topic has poorly design and made clothing for a very high price.

but hey the kids eat it up, and they do well.

most of the people who do shop there want to be unique and what ever, and not buy normal clothing in what ever store they hate.

which is fine to me, but they dont realize they're wearing a the same crap every one else is wearing cuz just about every hot topic is the same.

Also i know for a fact that hot topic stores Steal portfolios and design ideas for their clothing.

just like urban outfitters does.

so to me they are a uninspired and just another run of the mill cookie cutter store but with a different face to it.


a Hot Topic wouldnt survive in japan.

B/c they is more variety and better quality and better prices all around Harajuku

also the designs are alot more newage and innovative.

Hot topics been sporting the same stolen clothing designs for the past 5 years pretty much.

that really depends on the person. but in my opinon, Harujuku deletes hot topic by a kazillion. but thats just my perspective.
