Great pic! The kimono and the world outisde the window is really nice to look at !

This is a nice one, though it is more about the girl, then the kimono.

i've just klicked my way through the last 30 pages..... there have been so many beautiful pictures. amazing!! avary, thanks a lot for sharing them!!!

mmh, I've got my own Yukata (I've knitted it at school in Home Economics, it was a lot of work but my teachers helped me a lot so that I could finish it on time).
and my Japanese teacher gave me the possibility to wear a Furisode and also a hakama. pictures of that can be seen here Me in Kimono
but they are not that good.... and the explanations are in German, sorry!!
whao, it's been such a long time ago....
I'm normally wearing glasses, but my teacher insisted that I should not wear them while wearing a Kimono (she should have told me before so that I could have taken my contact lenses.... it's been so hard to concentrate on seeing without glasses, my eyes really hurt a great lot) .... what do you think?

me too, it's so awesome!! (and it doesn't last that long to put them on as a kimono does)

btw, uniclo (the Japanese H&M version) sells Yukatas for less than 7000 Yen, but they are Japanese size so they might be too short

Kimino are simply the most amazing piece of clothing you can get. Not only do they look awesome in general, if you look at them close up you can see all the intricate detail. It's really crazy

Actually, they're not clothing, they're works of art. Even though I'm a guy, I'm definately getting one at some point just to have hanging somewhere and show off
