I never knew they went that light.. I can only notice a little of the fashion. Light and cute~ (^^)

Cos they're wearing their school uniform lol. And they've not got dyed hair cos well school ya know, and I bet they went into a mcdonalds toilet to do their hair and make up as soon as the bell rang lol.
But no not all gyaru go tan, plenty keep it pretty light. I can't wear it, but I personally loved ganguro, yamamba and center gai. They just did what they want and don't give a fuk what other people thought about them. But yamamba is a dieing breed you'll only see in shibuya now days. Like all fashions it's evolved. |
Ganguros are kind of cute, and I totally like that white makeup, but i think they're kind of scary too...

I think it's kinda hard when you don't want that style anymore and you have to wait until you're skin gets lighter again :D LOL

ironically wasn't it ai ijima that made this trend famous??

tbh its pretty scary looking i mean its up to them what they want to look like and i respect that they are confident enough to stand out and all but it just seems a shame japanese girls are so so pretty so to look kind of scary like that seems a bit odd

I kind of don't like the style. No offence but they really look burnt.

that picture reminds me of the ghost in "the grudge". they are all pretty pale looking with long black hair.
